Finding Calm Through A Prayer For Anxiety
Welcome to our prayer series. A prayer to calm an anxious heart.
As you settle into a relaxed posture, allow your eyelids to gently close, welcoming a sense of serenity with each slow, deep breath.
As you settle into a relaxed posture, gently close your eyes, welcoming a sense of serenity with each slow, deep breath.
And as you exhale, you will feel the tension in your shoulders and neck start to loosen. With each breath, you become more relaxed, and your mind begins to quiet down.
Picture yourself immersed in a gentle and reassuring radiance, embraced by the calmness of God’s presence.
As you exhale, envision yourself sinking deeper into the safety of His arms, allowing every concern to dissipate like mist in the sunlight.
Find solace in this moment, letting the peace of John 14:27 wash over you as you commune with the Lord.
John 14:27 – I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
Heavenly Father,
My Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart burdened for those who are experiencing anxiety and turmoil within their hearts.
I come before You with a heart burdened for those who are struggling with anxiety and inner unrest.
Lord, I lift them up to You, knowing that Your peace, as promised in John 14:27, is available to calm the storms raging within.
Just as Your Son, Jesus Christ, left His peace with His disciples, I pray that You would graciously extend that same peace to those who are struggling with anxious hearts. May they feel Your comforting presence surrounding them, bringing a sense of tranquility and reassurance.
In the midst of their fears and worries, Lord, may Your peace be a guiding light, leading them out of darkness and into the safety of Your embrace. Give them the strength to release their burdens to You, knowing that You are always near, ready to lift their heavy hearts.
Lord Jesus, I pray that You would speak words of peace and comfort to those who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety. Help them to trust in Your promises and to find refuge in Your unfailing love. May Your peace wash over them, bringing a deep sense of calm and security.

Lord, I ask that You would use this season of anxiety as an opportunity to draw these individuals closer to You. May Your peace penetrate the depths of their souls, bringing healing and restoration where it is most needed.
Yes my Lord, I ask that You would use this season of anxiety as an opportunity to draw these individuals closer to You. May Your peace penetrate the depths of their souls, bringing healing and restoration where it is most needed.
Thank You, Lord, for Your constant presence and Your unending love. May Your peace dwell richly within the hearts of those who are struggling, transforming their anxious hearts into vessels of Your peace.
In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Amen.

Allow their gentle whispers to envelop your soul, like a soothing balm that calms to the innermost chambers of your being.
With each passing moment, feel the weight of worry and uncertainty dissipate, replaced by a profound sense of peace and clarity.
